CASTCO has complete facilities to provide improved service for small and larger castings. Our new large Heat Treating furnace will complement our existing one.
CASTCO has developed a superior expertise in the production of high quality commercial aluminum castings. Flasks for large castings are currently available for up to 4,000 pound parts. Pouring twenty tons per shift.
When designing new components, or updating the quality of existing parts, put CASTCO's 40 years of experience work for you!
Weight saving aluminum can be machined so much faster than ferrous castings that you should consider this substitution to lower your finished part cost. You can combine aluminum with cast in inserts of steel, brass or other alloys. CASTCO would like to work with you in determining the proper aluminum alloy for such substitution.
If you must have the properties of ductile or malleable iron, but would still like improved machinability and weight savings, consider investigating the new ZA alloy we pour. Excellent bearing properties that will double the life of 660 in most applications.
